Good morning!
Our propane heater is broken and Ryan can't fix it until we can get the part! Cross your fingers for us and hope we're able today or tomorrow please!
Check out this place!
Have you ever heard of Curacao? It looks summery and gorgeous and absolutely perfect! I am not usually a heat person, but lately I've wanted to lie on the beach with a good book and feel the wake of the ocean kiss my toes every few minutes.

| 23 degrees INSIDE our home; goofy belly photo; glucose tolerance test and a (so far) great book; stuffed mushrooms and the camera & feather necklaces I got from DesignedIdentity in Eliza's huge giveaway; BABY!! Is little BB/RJ looking adorable or what?! |

I love Lauren's Skagway, Alaska photos so much! I'd still like to hang out on that beach right now, but Alaska photos will always make me smile.
-
Ooooh, how about the San Blas Islands? They look pretty warm and inviting right now, right? (That ship makes me so, so happy!)
-
This little family has done something pretty awesome and taken photos of their feet in all of their adventures. There are a lot of gorgeous views here and I sure wish we'd done something like this!

I don't have any big Australia plans any time soon but I love these Australia road trip tips! Fun to keep around for someday!
-
Also, a future traveler onesie I simply must buy someday, and some places I'm excited to check out while in Utah: Red Butte Garden, Willard Bay State Park, and Union Station.
I hope you have a lovely weekend! If you're somewhere snowy, snap a quick snow picture for me (SaraBell2010@yahoo.com) to share in my next set of Your Town photos! If you aren't but you have a few minutes to sort through old photos, keep your eyes peeled for an old one!

In other news, all of my paperbacks are 15% off through Sunday via Lulu.com!

Great links, and yayyyy baby! Can't wait to meet him or her :) Sorry about your broken heater, that would kill me.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteYes, it's quite the bummer!! I am pretty darn thankful for our electric space heaters right now!
23 degrees INSIDE? I hope you get that heater fixed fast!
ReplyDeleteI was looking at old blizzard photos the other day. I can definitely send you some. :)
Yes, INSIDE! It's been awful! We have electric space heaters for the time being, but they're not the same!
DeleteAnd thank you again for the snow pics! =]
Baby is looking super cute! Hope you survived the glucose tolerance test alright
ReplyDeleteThank you, we think so too!
DeleteAnd I did... but barely! Definitely not my favorite part of the day!
That darn glucose test! I actually didn't mind the test TOO much, but I was going crazy waiting for the results to see if I had the gestational diabetes. I was going to be devastated if I had to give up cupcakes :)
ReplyDeleteThe first few sips were okay and then it got so bad! I felt like I was going to throw up but I knew if I did I'd have to go back and try again so I held it in. Blech.
DeleteThe waiting though, yeah, no fun. I don't eat cupcakes very often but I have a feeling I'd want them all the time if I suddenly wasn't allowed!
Australia is pretty high up on my places to list, thanks for the tips!
ReplyDeleteLook out for those salamanders!! ;]
DeleteOMG baby Bell is soooo cute!!!! and jeeze what a bummer no heat SUCKS. I hated the GTT. I had to re-take it with Zoey. I threw up the first time. Ew.
ReplyDeleteI miss you so much tonight!!
DeleteThank you, we think so too! Such a little mover. And joke's on you, they couldn't tell the gender any ways!!
Ryan thinks he'll have us all heated up again by Sunday night actually, much sooner than I thought!
I almost threw up but managed to keep it down. Blech. I hear going back a second time is pure torture so my fingers are crossed!
Baby Bell needs to stop being stubborn and reveal him/her self.
DeleteThat's good he can get you headed up quickly!
And good job you didn't throw up. It is pure torture a second time. I think orange flavor is way worse then the red kind though.
Random thought. We got the kids a swing set with Christmas money. Bart built it yesterday and we're about to let them see it for the first time =]
I never drink soda so I thought it might taste like orange soda to me, yummy. Not quite. I HATE fruit punch though so I went straight for the orange even though everyone was telling me to do red. If I ever do it again, I'll probably just try red.
DeleteYay, that's so exciting!! I can't wait to see pictures!
So cold! I would be like, 'NOPE. We are going to a hotel.' I sure do hope your part came already!
ReplyDeleteHow was the glucose test? I've heard it's awful! I wonder if it's worse when you don't normally have a lot of sugar?
Australia! so want to go there.
I'll have to sort through old snow pictures. The snow is now all gross and melty.
I did say that ha ha, but we don't really have hotel money right now and it was too cold to pack any ways. =P But we should be all heated up by tomorrow night now!!
DeleteWell I thought it was awful, but maybe not as awful as I've heard. I had to fast before mine (which I don't think is normal, everyone has been surprised by that) and didn't get to get my blood drawn until one so I was pretty hungry and felt all funky from that any ways. I did the orange flavor and the first few sips were kind of tasty, then it got nasty and I almost threw up a few times... but I survived!
Ha ha, we were just talking about that the other day! In Prescott and Casper it always melted the next day but here and in Flag it's always gorgeous for a day or two and then slushy and nasty looking!
Our Daughter is also pregnant, and just finished her second ultra sound...it's a boy! Hope all goes well for you and you find some heat soon!
ReplyDeleteAw, congrats to her! And thank you!!
DeleteI love this post!
ReplyDeleteEspecially the post about San Blas, as I've been there and it was BEAUTIFUL!
Also would really love to go to Curacao!
xox
Thank you! I had never even heard of San Blas before I saw that post but you can bet it's on my list now! They both are. =]
