Good morning!
Yesterday was a big day.
Heartbeat day!
We always give up and show up at the appointment early, hoping they'll get us back early.
And my leg jiggled and my fingers drummed and my breath came out in sighs.
And then we got to hear the sweetest sound of them all.
I've listened to it over and over and over again.
Also, October Special Cause!
I can't believe I'm so late posting this! I do like skipping the monthly goal reviews but the downside is that I have trouble remembering to post about the special cause!
I tried selling Arbonne a few years ago and while I did I met a really great girl named Sylvie.
Well Sylvie was diagnosed with lymphoma just a few weeks before her wedding and has chosen to take more natural approaches to her cure than chemo/radiation. Insurance doesn't cover all of those approaches and costs add up so if you're able to give anything at all this month, please do!
I can personally attest to Sylvie's sweet heart and good soul.

Oooo that's so exciting to her it!!!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it?! It was even cooler on the ultrasound machine because we could see the bars (sorry, no idea what is called!) and watch it go. Oh, and we saw the heart beating when the baby was still too tiny to see on an ultrasound. Is that crazy or what?
DeleteLove love love listening to the heartbeat!!! Sweetest sound ever!
ReplyDeleteI know, it's the absolute greatest!! I can't wait until next month!
DeleteOh, and I'll donate as much as I can to the cause! It's not much, but every dollar counts and I'm glad to see her doing a more natural approach and getting good results!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And me too, always happy to see someone try something besides chemo!
DeleteOh, and one more comment! haha Since you're so good about sharing/knowing about special causes and whatnot, you should have a little round-up of ones you like in December. Instead of presents for the past couple years we donated money to a charity of our choice, but I hate donating things to the 'big' causes because I feel like my money doesn't do as much! Or I guess I could donate to your December cause...duh! But it's nice to have options since it'll be more money than the usual $25. =)
ReplyDeleteOh that's a great idea! I will definitely do that, making a note to myself right now!! =D
DeleteEek, the heartbeat! That is just amazing. :)
ReplyDeleteIt's so exciting! =D
DeleteI kind of fell off the wagon there for a little while and was checking in. Congrats on your pregnancy!! How exciting! I know you'll hear it a thousand times, but being a mama is the best!!
ReplyDeleteOh yay! I am slow about it, but I always try to make sure I comment on all of my blogger followers' blogs at least once every few months... but yours hadn't been updated so I skipped it! Glad to see you're back! =]
DeleteAnd thank you, it is SO exciting!
how exciting! my guess (even though you didn't ask)....it's a girl!
ReplyDeleteI was going to ask in a few days any ways! =]
