A Little Bit O' Weekend in My Life...

 Good morning!
I hope you all had a lovely weekend!
Bubble bath & candles, sigh.
Bath & Body Works' mini pumpkin cupcake candle thanks to my Influenster VoxBox! I would definitely recommend this scent for stocking stuffers... and for yourself!
Blueberry & cranberry muffins... I thought they were burnt but it turned out the tops got really dark but they're still soft and moist inside.
=]
Hot chocolate & a pretty good biological warfare book. Thousands of shoppers are trapped in a mall where something is released through the airducts... and chaos of course ensues. YA, and pretty light if you like the "apocalyptic" (not quite, since it's contained in a mall) drama without the gore.
Casper exploration...
On the left is Natrona County High School. Is it not gorgeous! I wish I went to a public school that looked like a fancy private school!
Saks Thrift Avenue is definitely the best thrift store name ever, and antelope as always
Books for little Maynard or Bertha's library
Also this weekend:
Raising Arizona
Taco night thanks to my favorite handsome ground beef browner
A random deer in the Walmart parking lot
Football
The Walking Dead
Birthday shopping for a special someone
Travelbugitis and plans for the future

In other news, catching up on my Bible in One Year reading.
Isaiah 27:1 In that day the Lord will take his terrible, swift sword and punish Leviathan,[c] the swiftly moving serpent, the coiling, writhing serpent. He will kill the dragon of the sea.
And now, for the behemoth. I consider Leviathan to be a water dinosaur and the behemoth to be a land dino. Come on now, where's the fall of that darn behemoth?

    1. Oh my goodness, it's awesome! If you're interested, I can send you an invite... basically, you fill out a few profile questions so they know what kinds of boxes to send you, then once they send you a box you just answer a super short survey about it... which products you liked, which you didn't, if you'd buy them, if you'd recommend them to family/friends, etc. It's a completely free program, basically just done to test their products and/or get their name out there!

  2. The name of that thrift store is the best, oh my!

I made some banana muffins and ended up like that, and had to keep putting them in after I was cooling them. So annoying! It was like an hour long process of cooking and recooking! haha

And I would love to go to that high school...so dreamy!!

    1. Isn't that awesome?!
Yeah I have something weird like that happen every once in a while and confuse the heck out of me. I guess as long as they taste good it doesn't matter, but it's still so strange to me!
I know, it makes me think of Gossip Girl or Pretty Little Liars' high schools ha ha.

    1. Yay, I sent you an invite! I wish we could get some points or something for inviting people, I'm kicking butt and taking names these days! =]
Once you get the e-mail I think it'll give you some clearer instructions, but basically you'll fill out a few quick profiles so they know what boxes to send you... if you have pets or children, use make-up, like to be outside, buy natural groceries, etc. Then you just have to wait for an e-mail letting you know there's a box ready for you and you're all set! I would imagine your first box invite will come in a few weeks. =]

    2. ok, i got the invite, and signed up by making a profile, but i'm really confused now, ha ha :) what am i supposed to do now?

    3. Oh goodness, I hope I can explain this well! So what you need to do (and maybe already did by creating a profile?) is get yourself some badges. Basically those are 10-questionish mini profiles that will figure out which boxes will work for you. So on the right side of my profile it shows my badges and I'm guessing on the right side of yours it'll say NONE YET or CLICK HERE FOR BADGES or something, unless you've already gotten them.
Once you have your badges, it'll show you what you can do to get a higher score in those badges, otherwise you're ready to wait for a box! =]

    4. ok, i started taking surveys, but i'm on the "expert" badges...do i have to do the "influenster" tab in order to start getting stuff in the mail, or do any of them work? sorry for all the questions! just trying to figure this out!

    5. Oh wow I don't even have an Influenster tab! =/
Expert tabs are what you want. So they should have a number on them (it's okay if they don't have anything yet, sometimes they scores don't start up until later) and then you'll just have to wait a little bit until they launch a new box. They just launched two or three in a row so I'm not sure how long it'll be. My experience before was that it was about a month in between (but you won't get every box, no man box for you and no cat box if you have a dog, bride box if you're married, etc.) but they said they're doing boxes way more often now. I hope I'm being more helpful that annoying ha ha.

  5. What a weekend! I love Raising Arizona! The antelope are darling and I'm so glad your muffins turned out! I made banana bread ones and they weren't as moist as I like. I think because I left them in the oven after I turned it off for a few and that extra cook time dried em out. Boo. The book sounds like a scene from the 70s version of Dawn of the Dead II I finally watched those thanks to a coworker last year. They were classics, done pretty bad effects but good story, one was based on the survivors of zombie takeover being trapped in a mall. ~Naples Sara

    1. I think banana bread is kind of hard. I always have weird issues with it.
I haven't seen the 70s version but I've seen the new one! A lot of horror aficionados tell me it's dumb, but I think it's terrifying. I'm a big scaredy cat!
