Q&A Session Three

This is the end of your questions. Thanks for playing!

1. Have ever attended a college?
Yes. I have an associates of arts in general studies from a community college and a BS in journalism, emphasis on photojournalism, from Northern Arizona University. I am fully aware of the craziness of that degree. I needed a degree and they didn't offer the one I wanted so I settled. I'm glad I did because I might not be with Ryan if I'd moved, but really, don't do that. Get a degree you actually want or you'll spend a few years of your life irritated.
2. How long have you and your sweetheart been together?
We've been a couple for four years, married for two... but we've known each other for about eight years and I had a crush on him the day I met him.
3. What is the best advice that you have been given?
When we first got engaged, one of Ryan's aunts sent us a card. It said "Congratulations on your engagement! Here's some advice... ignore all the advice."
It's without a doubt the best advice I've been given and I give it to all newlyweds. Your marriage is your own. One couple's problems may be solved a completely different way than yours, just as they might show love in a completely different way. That's okay.
4. What part's have you visited in Florida?
I was only in Florida for three or four days when I went, and I didn't do any sight-seeing because I was there to baby-sit for my boss. I flew into and ate dinner in Orlando, stayed in Kissimmee, and then flew back home via Orlando. I'm very excited to actually see Florida when we go back someday.
5. if you had to stop moving around and permanently live in one location, where would it be?
This is a really hard question to answer. I used to start crying when Ryan and I would talk about it because it was so hard and sad to imagine not traveling. Now I'm able to look at it a little more rationally though and understand that just because I'm not traveling every few weeks doesn't mean I can't travel.
We'll realistically wind up wherever Ryan gets a job opportunity that makes homeschooling a possibility (some states require that you have a degree in teaching, which I do not)... but if I had to choose, based on where we've been so far? I would have to say this region is my favorite. Wyoming, Montana or South Dakota for sure.

  1. That's interesting that you say Wyoming, Montana, or South Dakota are the places you ma want to permanently live! I don't hear it too often, so it's surprising. Based on your pictures, though, it seems so great there!

  2. Ohhhh Wyoming and Montana!!!! Beautiful choices!!! Thanks for sharing again and yes you can always travel a d I'm sure you'll look back on this period and be sooo happy that you and Ryan had done this and made all of the cool memories and experiences - new ones to come!! I have lived in central MI for 28 years and Il for one... Now being in FL, I may as well be in a different country, this is not Midwest (which I know I will miss aspects of) and I love it!~ Naples Sara

    1. I am so excited to travel to "the other side" and see all of the things and places that are so different from the mid/southwest, especially since Minnesota and Wisconsin were such a world of difference, but I'm also a teensy bit nervous! (But mostly just excited) =]

  3. I totally forgot about the question's I ask! I agree 100% with the answer to number 3 (now you're thinking "Then why did you ask?!"). It's your relationship, your life.. I have learn that everyone intakes everything differently and that some take it more offensive than others. We simply can't impress everyone. I'm happy that you follow through with that love.
