I am soaking up my last little bit of time with my little guys and doing all kinds of fun things...
like playing with those popper froggies and enjoying Frosties.
I haven't had a Frosty in like a thousand years and now I want one constantly. They're delicious! I don't remember them being so delicious!
Yesterday we walked around Tom Pettit's Community Park, the first I've even heard of this place. We had an hour to kill and went there on a whim.
I'm so glad we did!
There were so many extra trails and loops we couldn't take because of time constraints but how lovely is this place?!
I actually walked the whole thing wearing this (minus a few little rock-bridges I had to go across barefoot) so it was a super easy "hike" anyone could do!
Ooooh man. I LOOOOOVE Frosties.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful park! I love all the little creeks.
I know! This baby is growing so fast. He/she moves all the time! (I'm 99% convinced it's a girl)
I do too now! I think I'll get one again this weekend!! =]
DeleteIt was actually just one creek but it was so wind-y (how do you spell that? Is it the same as windy?) that we saw it multiple times!
Oh I think feeling a baby moving inside you would be the neatest, craziest phenomenon!! (And I always hear it's the dad whose right about the sex more often... what does hubby think?) =]
great photos!
ReplyDeletemakes me want to run outdoors (except its raining today lol).
and that chocolate frosty.. YUM!
ps. im doing a new series and would love for you to stop by and let me know what you think :) http://redheadeddaybook.blogspot.com/2012/04/new-series.html
happy thursday!
It was rainy here today too. I actually love rain but I'm glad I got to get this in before it got too cold and wet for it!
DeleteAnd I will go check it out in just a few minutes!
So pretty!
ReplyDeleteWhere di you get the frosty from? Wendy's? Every once in a while I'll get a crazy craving for one! Luckily they have the really small ones for a buck!
Yep, Wendy's! We got kid-sized ones and they were only 89 cents! They weren't on the menu that I saw, but cheaper is cheaper and I don't need any more ice cream than that any ways. =]
DeleteBeautiful! So green for Arizona. And are Wendy's frostys gluten-free?!?!
ReplyDeleteYeah there are a few spots in Prescott like that and then the rest is--in my opinion, at least--hideous lol.
DeleteAnd yes, they are! Wendy's is actually the only fast food restaurant we fully trust. (Aside from that Subway in Cloquet, MN). We get baked potatoes and Frosty's fairly often, and Ryan likes their burger patties a lot too.
Do you have to talk to them a lot about it? Like ask a million questions? Are any of the baked potato toppings an issue? This is FASCINATING and I want to go to Wendy's NOW! hahaha
DeleteNot really, we just always tell them we have "a wheat allergy" so could they please wear new gloves and be careful. We find that people thinking you might have a seizure on their table makes them far more likely to be careful than celi-what does.
DeleteThey do have all kinds of baked potato toppings now that I think about it, but I only ever just get sour cream and chives which I know are safe. I don't even know what other toppings they have. But one of my favorite things about Wendy's, or at least ours, is that their allergen menu is framed and hanging on the wall so we know what has dairy, soy, wheat, nuts, etc. Super helpful!!
Oh man, now I want a Frosty!
ReplyDeleteI think I'm going to get another one this weekend lol.
DeleteWhat an amazing park. Love the rainbow on the tree stump!
ReplyDeleteI know, isn't that awesome?
DeleteNice looking park, looks a lot like Ontario instead of Az.
ReplyDeleteThen I bet I'll love Ontario!
